The cage can be configured as a full protective frame or converted into a lighter half‑cage by removing the side L‑bracket, making it suitable for handheld, tripod, or gimbal use. The removable top module maintains compatibility with the original XLR audio handle.

Flexible Accessory Mounting Options

Multiple mounting interfaces support a wide range of accessories, including:

  • A NATO rail on the top plate
  • A shoe mount
  • 3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20 threads with anti‑twist locating pins

These options allow secure attachment of monitors, arms, wireless systems, and other production tools.

Integrated Arca‑Style Base for Quick Mounting

The cage features an Arca‑type base compatible with tripod heads and gimbal plates, enabling fast transitions between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations without additional adapters.

Enhanced Handling and Cable Security

A right‑side handgrip improves stability during handheld operation, while the included HDMI cable clamp prevents accidental disconnection and mounts with a convenient thumbscrew. Strap slots support optional wrist or neck straps for added comfort.
