Part of Tiffen’s Hollywood F/x series, the 4×5.65″ Black Pro-Mist 1 Filter was originally crafted for MPTV use. However, its effectiveness extends to any photographic medium, whether still or video. This filter is the first full step available in the Pro-Mist series, offering an even softer image by subtly reducing the inherent sharpness of your equipment.

The filter also imparts a pleasing pearlescent glow around the highlights, further minimizing contrast. Crafted with Tiffen’s ColorCore glass, the filter material is permanently laminated between two pieces of optical glass. These are ground flat to tolerances of a ten-thousandth of an inch, and then mounted in precision aluminum rings. This ensures the filter’s durability and effectiveness, making it a reliable addition to your photography or videography equipment.
